What to expect at Open Door Baptist Church

At ODBC...

You can anticipate stepping into a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where warmth and fellowship abound. Our commitment to the Bible as the inerrant and infallible word of God is unwavering, ensuring that every teaching and sermon resonates with its divine truth. We begin our services with the uplifting strains of beloved hymns, setting the stage for heartfelt worship and a deep dive into God's Word. Here, we uphold the sacred heritage of our faith, steadfast in defending the timeless truths entrusted to the saints of old.
Within our church family, prayers intertwine as we support one another through life's journey, offering solace and strength in times of need. Opportunities to serve abound, inviting you to discover your unique purpose in advancing the ministry of our local church. Together, we embark on a journey of faith, extending our reach both locally in Missoula and globally as we fulfill the work entrusted to us by God.
As you sit under the ordained preaching and teaching of the Word, expect to be uplifted and inspired, as you will hear the truth and be fed by the Word of God. We eagerly invite you to join us this Sunday and experience the transformative power of God's Word in our midst. Come, be blessed, and become a part of our vibrant community of faith.
Something For All Ages
In addition to our welcoming main services, we extend a warm invitation to families with young children, providing a safe and nurturing nursery for infants aged 0-2 and toddlers aged 2-4. For older children, we offer engaging junior church classes tailored to ages 4-7 and 7-12, as well as a dynamic teen class designed for ages 13-18.

Discipleship Classes
For those seeking a deeper understanding of the Bible, we invite you to join our small-group discipleship sessions held every Wednesday. Led by experienced discipleship leaders, these sessions offer a comprehensive exploration of God's Word, providing a perfect opportunity for couples, individuals, newcomers to the faith, or anyone eager to delve into scripture on a more profound level. Expect a supportive environment where questions are welcomed, insights are shared, and spiritual growth is nurtured. Join us as we journey together in discovering the richness of God's truth.

Others Concerns?

Can I get a ride?
Yes, please contact us and we will arrange transportation.
Will I be asked to give money?
We do take an offering at each service after the time of singing & worship. These offerings help us to keep the lights on and play a vital role in sustaining our ministry. It's worth noting that a significant portion of our congregation chooses to give conveniently online. If you're a guest or visitor, please feel entirely at ease—your presence is a gift in itself. There's absolutely no pressure to contribute financially.
What do I wear?
You may wear whatever you want. Some people will wear suits and ties, others enjoy more business casual (slacks and a button shirt), and still others who prefer jeans and t-shirt. It’s important to remember that God looks at the soul, not at the suit.
Where can I park?
Although finding a parking space is not usually an issue you may need to park on the street around the church grounds if the main lot fills up. There is also handicap/visitor parking available on the street directly in front of the main entrance.
